Alice Notley’s epic poem Benediction, which came out last summer, has been on SPD’s best-seller list for six consecutive months. It comes in at number nine for January, along side lots of other terrific books by Tomaž Šalamun, Laura Mullen, Bhanu Kapil, Graham Foust, and Sueyeun Juliette Lee.
