Alice Notley’s Benediction and Brandon Shimoda’s Evening Oracle come in at #6 and #9 for February’s 2016 Best-Seller List on Small Press Distribution. This is Benediction‘s seventh consecutive month on the list; and it marks Evening Oracle‘s third appearance on the list–as it debuted last November 2015 at the #9 spot also. Thanks for everybody’s support of these radical books. Amazing company up there with Chika Sagawa (tr. Sawako Nakayasu), Douglas Kearney, Morgan Parker, Ronaldo V. Alice Notley’s epic poem Benediction, which came out last summer, has been on SPD’s best-seller list for six consecutive months. It comes in at number nine for January, along side lots of other terrific books by Tomaž Šalamun, Laura Mullen, Bhanu Kapil, Graham Foust, and Sueyeun Juliette Lee.
So happy to see that Fred Moten has been nominated for the Kingsley Tufts Prize. Great to see other favorites of ours like Ross Gay, Jennifer Moxley, and Michael Morse.
